Billy Eugene Burnett, 94, of Clanton, Alabama passed away July 16, 2025, at his residence.
He was born July 6, 1931, in Chilton County, Alabama, son of the late Willie Burnett and the late Maybelle Burnett.
Billy was a very good husband and father, he always put family first. He loved his family, the Lord, his church and was dedicated member. He knew where he was going one day and wasn't ashamed to tell you. We love you dad and know you're there taking care of Momma!
Surviving are his Sons, Tony Burnett, Johnny (Marie) Burnett, Chris (Misty) Burnett; Daughter, Vicki (Rusty) Johnston; Sister, Martha (Benny) Clark; 13 Grandchildren and 29 Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Shirley Mae Burnett; Father, Wille Burnett; Mother, Maybelle Burnett; Daughter, Teresa Burnett; Daughter-in-law, Cristal Burnett; Grandson, Alan Burnett; Brothers, James Burnett, J. E. Burnett, Samuel Burnett; Sisters, Polly Nance, Sister, Mary Elizabeth McKee.
Friends will be received Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Jackson Chapel Church.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Jackson Chapel Church with Rev. Dennis Smith and Rev. Travis Burnett officiating.
Interment will follow in Jackson Chapel Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Bryant, Tony Burnett, Jr. Josh Burnet, Joey Burnett, Nathan Burnett and Todd Manning. Alternative Pallbearers will be Trenton Bedwell and Josh Caudle.
