Billy was born September 13, 1926, in Granville, OK to Clarence C. and Autrey Dee (Kent) Mull. Billy married Lloyd Gerald Simpson on April 25, 1971 in Idalou. She graduated from Idalou High School and Texas Tech. Billy taught in Perryton, Texas and also in McCoy, Texas. She was a manager of the school store in Idalou, worked for Litton Industries and was also a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Gerald Simpson, daughters; Eddley Smith, Susan (Sue) Smith, and Randye Mckee, her parents, brothers, Jerry Mull and his wife Bobbie and Jackie Mull.
Billy is survived by her sons, JoEd Smith and wife Debbie of Austin, and Eddy Smith of Denver, CO, daughters, Rhonda Pruitt of Lubbock and Suzette Watts and husband Steve of Houston, sister, Velton Castleberry of Lubbock, sister-in-laws, Gwen Mull and Donna Smith both of Idalou, seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and many forever friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Library of Legacies Resident Memorial Fund. 910 Frontage Road, Idalou, TX 79329.
