Carol Plant Obituary

Mrs. Plant, 77, of Alexandria, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, with her loving family by her side.
Carol was a homemaker and enjoyed camping, playing bingo, singing, and cooking for her family. Her grandbabies were the light of her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marjorie Durison; one brother, Sonny Durison; and one sister, Bertie Durison.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her husband of twenty-six years, Darrell Plant of Alexandria; two sons, Ray Murphy of Pineville and Audy Murphy (Christy) of Pollock; three daughters, Carla LaCaze (Darrell) of Pineville, Bonnie Murphy of Pineville, and Samantha Plant of Pineville; two brothers, Ricky Durison and Bob Durison; two sisters, Laura Durison and Brenda Durison; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Monday, October 16, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Darrell LaCaze, Taylor Murphy, Skyler Murphy, John Durison, Matthew Durison, and Dewayne Gunter.

Carol and I were neighbors and her daughter, Carla, and I were besties. Carol had a heart of gold. Rest in Heaven

Carol was such a sweet lady and friend. I was so saddened to hear that she had passed away. My condolences to her husband, Bonnie, Ray Ray and Samantha. Rest in peace , Carol.
