Carter Heath Blount was born Tuesday, May 21st, 2024, infant son of Andrew and Kenzie Blount. Carter went to rest with our Lord and Savior Sunday May 26th, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Clyde First Baptist Church with Dr. Toby Henson officiating under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the church. Burial will follow in Clyde Cemetery.
Carter is survived by his parents, Andrew and Kenzie Blount of Clyde; his maternal grandparents, John and Elizabeth Lane of Clyde and Steve Berger of West; paternal grandparents, Keith and Jennifer Timms of Clyde and Nolan and Stephanie Blount of Monterey, Louisiana; aunt, Laney Greene and Alexis of Clyde; uncles, Garrett Bryan and wife Reagan of Clyde, Nathan Blount and Talon Blount of Monterey, Louisiana, Jacob Millsap and fiancé Clarissa of Odessa and Dylan Berger and Tori of West; cousin, Guy Bryan of Clyde; maternal great-grandfather, Wayne McCollum of Gholson; maternal great grandmother, Patsey Lane of San Angelo; paternal great-grandparents; Ricky and Rhnea Bryan, Mike and Kathy Forman, and Paula Blount, all of Monterey, Louisiana, Steve and Lang Fleming of Vidalia, Louisiana, Debbie Blue of Pascagoula, Mississippi, Martha Timms of Baird and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Don Blount; great aunt, Micah LeBlanc; great uncle, Joey Cupit; great grandmother, Dorothy Berger and great uncle, Billy Bramlett.
Those honoring Carter as pallbearers are Ben Porter, Jusiah Lee, Jace Young, and Caden Cannon.
Honorary pallbearers will be his uncles, Garrett, Alexis, Nathan, Talon, Jacob, and Dylan.
