Among those who preceded her in death are, her father, James W. Shay; grandson, Grayson Tucker and nephew, Christopher "Nicky" Young.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Steven Tucker (Kelsey) and Matthew Tucker (Stacy); grandchildren, Ayden Tucker, Amelia Tucker, Jacob Fox and Brannan Privett; mother, Fronzie Ellis Shay; sisters, Pam Zettwoch (Doug), Carrie Jewell (Leslie) and Rita Parsons; brother, Mike Shay (Missy) several beloved nieces and nephews and a host of other dear family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday from 12:00 pm until the time of her service at 6pm at the funeral home.
