Kanosh, Utah - Our beloved husband, father, Papa Chad, brother,
uncle, and son, passed away on September 7, 2022, at his home in
Kanosh. He is survived by his wife Liz, 4 children, and two amazing
daughters-in-law. Kaleb (Gabbriel) Milford, Pierce (Shantel) Lehi,
Daniel, Kanosh, Sophie, Kanosh, 4 beautiful granddaughters, and his
Mother Lorranie (Leonard) Watts of Kanosh. His brothers and sisters,
Doug (Sue) Whitaker, Sheri (Clark) Crook, Bryce (Cindy) Whitaker,
Melody (Brandon) Hoffman, Ben (Rachel) Whitaker, Larry Whitaker,
Jake Whitaker, and many, many, many, many nieces and nephews.
Chad was born on August 31, 1966 in the Fillmore hospital to
Melvin Whitaker and Lorraine Nielson Whitaker. 30 years ago Chad
and Liz were sealed in the Manti, Utah Temple. They lived in Las
Vegas when they first married and then came home to Kanosh 23
years ago.
Chad was loved and adored by everyone that knew him. He is the
best example of a husband, father, son, and friend. Chad was a faithful
member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and
magnified every calling he held. He passed through the veil holding
the calling of 1st Councilor in the Bishopric in the Kanosh 2nd ward.
Chad is preceded in death by his Father Melvin Whitaker.
Viewing services for Chad will be held Sunday, September 11th
from 6pm-8pm and Monday September 12th from 9:30am-10:30am
at the Kanosh Church building. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 12th at 11am at the Kanosh Church building.
