He was preceded in death by parents Thomas and Emma Brown, eight brothers and five sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Sue Brown, his sons Charles (Kristine), Keith (Dawn), grandchildren Jessica, CJ, Ryan, Jacklyn and Kara, all of Greensboro, and mother in law Geneva Smith of Robbins, N.C
He was a loyal husband, a father who taught his sons many useful skills and lessons. He was a gardener with a green thumb, a patient fisherman, a hunter, a golfer and a devoted, loving grandfather.
The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 PM, Friday, December 30, 2022 at Kennedy Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 30, 2022 at Pine Rest Cemetery in Robbins, N.C.
Kennedy Funeral Home is honored to serve the Brown family.
