Charles Marvin Morgan

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Marvin Morgan will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2023, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale, with Reverends Burton Beard and Greg Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Cryer Cemetery, Oakdale, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mr. Morgan, 80, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at St. Frances Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Oberlin, LA.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Charles was a hard worker and enjoyed carpentry and woodworking, and he loved his dogs. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Lester and Melda Morgan; one daughter, Kelli Richmond; one grandson, Cody Hendrixson; five brothers, Wilson, Clifton, Glen, Jerry, and Keno; and four sisters, Louella, Evelyn, Mabel, and Doris.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of thirty-one years, Tricia Morgan of Oakdale; three daughters, Roxanne Rodriguez, and husband Steven, of Oakdale, Angela Morgan of Oakdale, and Alae Welch, and husband Darin, of Oakdale; one sister, Myrtis Bond of Oakdale; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
A time of visitation will be held at Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale, on Friday, August 4, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Visitation will resume in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
