Claudina De La Cruz

Con gran pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida Claudina De La Cruz. Nacida el 12 de agosto de 1934 en Bolívar, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, fue una mujer cariñosa, animosa, divertida y leal que pasó sus 88 años apreciando la vida y los que la rodeaban. Claudina fue una mujer devota, cuya fe fue la piedra angular de su vida. Como dice la Escritura, "Ella está revestida de fuerza y dignidad; ella puede reírse de los días por venir". (Proverbios 31:25)
Claudina era una mujer de muchos placeres simples. Le encantaba jugar parchís y bingo, completar sopas de letras y disfrutar de sus comidas favoritas. Pero sobre todo, su mayor alegría venía de la música; sus ritmos y melodías relajantes eran una fuente constante de consuelo y felicidad para ella. Sin embargo, lo que más le importaba a Claudina era su familia y su fe en Dios. Estas fueron las luces que la guiaron en su vida, las fuentes de su fuerza y los manantiales de su alegría.
Le sobreviven sus hijos María Esperanza Pérez De La Cruz, Diego Nicolás Pérez De La Cruz, María Carmina Pérez De La Cruz y Carmen Rosa Pérez De La Cruz. También será extrañada con tristeza por sus muchos nietos, bisnietos, Claudina fue precedida en la muerte por sus padres, Leonardo De La Cruz y Rosario Mondragón, su esposo, Augusto Emilio Pérez, hijos Francisco José Pérez De La Cruz, Augusto Eugenio Pérez De La Cruz. Su vida se celebrará el miércoles 26 de julio de 2023 en Lambie Funeral Home, 8000 Rowland Avenue, Filadelfia, Pensilvania, 19136. El velorio comenzará a las 4:00 p. m. a 5:45 p. m., seguido de un servicio a las 6:00 p. m. Claudina, será enterrada en su país de origen, Colombia.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Claudina De La Cruz. Born on August 12, 1934, in Bolívar, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, she was a loving, spirited, funny, and loyal woman who spent her 88 years cherishing life and those around her. Claudina was a devout woman, whose faith was the cornerstone of her life. As the Scripture says, "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." (Proverbs 31:25)
Claudina was a woman of many simple pleasures. She loved playing Parcheesi and Bingo, completing word searches, and indulging in her favorite meals. But above all, her greatest joy came from music; its soothing rhythms and melodies were a constant source of comfort and happiness for her. However, what mattered most to Claudina were her family and her faith in God. These were the guiding lights in her life, the sources of her strength, and the wellsprings of her joy.
She is survived by her children Maria Esperanza Perez De La Cruz, Diego Nicolas De La Cruz, Maria Carmina Perez De La Cruz, and Carmen Rosa Perez De La Cruz. She will be also sadly missed by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, Claudina was preceded in death by her parents, Leonardo De La Cruz and Rosario Mondragon, her spouse, Augusto Emilio Perez, children Francisco Jose Perez De La Cruz and Augusto Eugenio Perez De La Cruz. Her life will be celebrated on Wednesday, 26 Jul 2023, at Lambie Funeral Home, 8000 Rowland Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19136. Viewing will begin at 4:00 pm to 5:45 pm, followed by a service at 6:00 pm. Claudina, will be buried in her home country of Colombia.
