This firecracker named Cody Craft came into our lives July 4, 2014. With this unexpected blessing our world expanded in every way possible. He lit up not only our lives, but everyone around him. Cody touched many lives in his short time on Earth. Dealt a difficult hand in life, he never let it dim his spark.
Cody was born January 26, 2010, and on that day the world got a little bit brighter. Blessing Kelly and Michael Lewis as their son in 2014. Through many battles, physically, mentally, and emotionally, Cody still thrived.
But unfortunately, like any firework the light must dim. As suddenly as he blasted into our lives, he was called home on November 6, 2022. Knowing he was greeted into the open arms of his Grandpa David, Great Grandparents Marvin and Virginia Seymour, and Thelma Chaney.
Cody is survived by his mom and dad, Kelly and Michael Lewis of the home, sister Audrey Lewis, two nieces Sophia and Aurora, nephew Tate. His Grandparents Kathy Cannon of Fletcher, Mike and Cindy Chaney of Cement, Mel and Gloria Lewis of Nebraska. Along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. And the special family of Suki, who has loved and looked after Cody as their own.
The service for Cody will be held at The Assembly of God Church in Fletcher, Wednesday November 9,2022 at 2:00 under the direction of The Fletcher Funeral Home. The Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday November 8th from 4-8 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to The Fletcher Funeral Home to assist the Lewis family with final expenses.
