Connie Campbell Obituary

Janesville, WI - Connie J. Campbell, age 69, of Janesville, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023, at SSM St. Mary Hospital, Madison, after a lengthy illness. She was born on August 26, 1954, in Richand Center, WI to the late Leo J. and Mary (Cooper) Hill. She graduated from Baraboo High School. On July 2, 1974, Connie married Dwayne E. Campbell in Baraboo, WI. Connie worked as a teacher's assistant at Jackson Elementary School for over 15 years. She enjoyed reading, being in her garden, taking car rides, and working with the children. She had a beautiful soul who would listen to anyone.

Connie is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dwyane Campbell; son, Andrew Campbell; brother, William (Tracey) Bartels of Portage; niece, Margaret Pagel; and nephews, Rodney Pagel and Michael (Diana) Hill. She was preceded by her parents; stepfather Barney Bartels; brother, Richard Hill; and sister, Anita Hill.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the APFEL EHLERT FUNERAL HOME, 315 Lord St. (Hwy 51) Edgerton. Memorials are appreciated to the Southern Wisconsin Humane Society. For on-line condolences: www.apfelfuneral.com
