Daniel W. Ball, born on November 27, 1950, in Queens, New York, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, in Riverhead, New York. He lived a vibrant life marked by service and dedication, particularly during his time in the United States Coast Guard, where he served his country with honor.
Daniel is survived by his partner, Richard McElroy; his ex-wife, Donna Ball and his daughter Shannyn Ball. His legacy will continue through the love and memories cherished by his family. Daniel was predeceased by his father, Chester Joseph Ball, and his mother, Mary Agnes Lloyd.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home located at 406 E Main St, Riverhead, NY, on May 21, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A prayer service will also be held on the same day at 7:00 PM. Daniel will be laid to rest during the inurnment service at Calverton National Cemetery, taking place on May 22, 2025, at 11:30 AM.
Daniel W. Ball will be remembered for his unwavering spirit, remarkable character, and the impact he had on those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
