In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Lester Hill; son, Kenneth T. Hawthorne; brothers, Raymond S. Kendall, Robert S. Kendall, and Ronald S. Kendall; and one grandchild.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Cathi Eggleston; sons, Keary T. Hawthorne and David C. Hawthorne; sister, Dianne Agnes Kendall; brothers, Russell S. Kendall, Richard S. Kendall, Rene' S. Kendall, and Roger S. Kendall; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Donna retired from the State of North Carolina having worked for many years at Cherry Hospital.
A service to celebrate Donna's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2024, in the sanctuary of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Newton Grove. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Princeton. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 or to the American Cancer Society as they continue their research, P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.seymourfuneralhome.com.
