Doris Smith Hawthorne became the sister I didn´t have when she married my brother. Our families were good friends and we so happy to have her join our family. We have memories of so many great family times and tragic losses. Her children brought joy to our family. We visited, we talked and we cared. We will miss her and keep her in our hearts. She is at peace in her Heavenly home.

I have fond memories of Doris; she was a kind ,sweet southern lady , and was a member of one of the oldest Knights Stations families. My sincere sympathy goes out to her family members. Mildred Carlton Adicks
