Evans, GA – Mr. Edward Samuel Pihl (81) loving husband of Susan K. Pihl, entered into rest on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
Ed was born in Jacksonville, FL. He was a proud alumnus of Jacksonville University, where he forged lifelong friendships and developed a passion for his future career in Fire and Fraud Investigation. For 39 years, Ed dedicated himself to State Farm, earning a reputation for his integrity and commitment to his clients. Ed was a man of deep faith, with a personal relationship with Jesus, and generously supported numerous charitable organizations. A devoted Florida Gators fan, he loved rooting for his team and sharing his enthusiasm with family and friends.
Family members including his wife Susan K. Pihl, who he loved and adored, including children and grandchildren are as follows: Jim and Chandra Pihl: Manderlay and London; Heather Pihl and children, Todd and Vanessa Greene: Aryn, Matt, Monroe, Jacob, Lexi, Karly, and Gavin; Emmett and Katy Rhodes; Hunter, Susanna, and Sophia; Butch and Rainne Eavenson: Grace and Ryleigh; David and Mitzi Morrison: Mandy and Matthew and sisters: Sherry Smith and Monica Flynn.
The memorial service will be held Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 12 Noon at Damascus Baptist Church with Rev. Bryan Carter officiating.
