Gleason is survived by his children, Gary McGehee and wife, Donna, Crystal Ballard and husband, Faron, and Jamie McGehee and wife, Dolores, all of Mount Vernon; grandchildren, Brittany McGehee, Brianna McGehee, Chalon McGehee, Shelbi Jones and husband, Morgan, Grayson Ballard, Tylor McGehee, Hunter McGehee, Nevaeh McGehee, and Shelia Gann; and great-grandchildren, Oakley, River, Colson, Brady, Lukas, Savannah, and Kendall.
In addition to his wife and parents, Gleason was preceded in death by his son, Rick McGehee; sisters, LaVera Earls and Thelma Dare; brother, Homer McGehee; and great-grandson, Malachi.
Gleason enjoyed camping, fishing, and going to auctions. Most of all, he loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gleason will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Wolf Prairie Cemetery in Mount Vernon with Pastor Chris Bean officiating. Interment will follow.
