Jacqueline Leiby Obituary
Jackie was quick to make friends and enjoyed being out with them. She loved to help others and always welcomed them into her family. Being an avid runner, she ran many 5Ks. Jackie had many interests which included being a Green Bay Packers fan, enjoying dancing and listening to music, going to the beach and attending church. She was always busy doing numerous things. Jackie was so proud of her daughter, Brooke, and did everything she could to be supportive of her.
Jackie is survived by her children, Jen (Meghan Reese) Sherman, Eric (Chau Hoang) Sherman, Brooke (Jaren) Scoggins, Ashley (Eric) Bailey, and James (Manar) Fox; two grandchildren, Atticus and Aero; siblings, Donald (Stacy) Leiby, Mark (Rebecca) Leiby, Theresa (Keith) Windes, Robert (Jeri) Leiby, Missy Peterson, and Tammy (Mark) Mitchell; her best friends, Teresa Redfield and Tammy Telfer, and her dog, Luke. She was predeceased by her parents and brother-in-law, Chris Peterson.
Friends are encouraged to support Jackie's family by attending services or sharing memories on her Tribute Page at www.prayfuneral.com. Visitation is Monday, August 26, 2024, from 12 - 2 p.m., at Pray Funeral Home in Charlotte. Memorial services are Monday, August 26, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Pray Funeral Home in Charlotte with Rev. Les Wiseman officiating. If desired, the family suggests memorial contributions to the family to assist with funeral expenses made payable to Pray Funeral Home. The family is in the care of Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte.
