James "Jim" L. Keller, 57, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 27, 2024. James was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 22, 1966 to the late James and Bonnie Keller. He was a resident of Canton/New Franklin for over 30 years. Jim was a graduate of Windham High School, Class of 1984 and graduated from Mount Union with a Bachelor's Degree. He retired from Stark County DD with 30 years of service. Jim was proud to be a coach with The Special Olympics for 30 years. He was an avid collector of Coca Cola memorabilia and loved traveling, cruises and spending time at his house in Florida. Jim is survived by his spouse, Shawn Williams; Shawn and Saiva; brother, Mike; sisters, Valerie (Joe), Suzanne, Elizabeth (Chris) and Christine; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Stephen (Kathy), Michele (Steve) and Mike (Pam); along with many, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many loving friends. Jim's family will receive family and friends on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton, Ohio 44203. Jim Keller was a wonderful job coach. He cared about his clients. I couldn't help but notice his genuine warmth and kindness. He treated my son very well. I'm glad to have gotten to know him. May God bless him.
