Janice R. McKinney

Janice R. McKinney, age 55, of New Brighton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday, January 3, 2022.
Born April 21, 1966 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late James Schmitt and Eileen Ernst Schmitt.
Janice was a self-employed farmer her entire adult life. She worked in the green house and loved flowers. She will be remembered for a very special love she shared with her family and especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
Janice leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 36 years, Jeffrey J. McKinney, who she married on July 13, 1985; her children, Robert (Amy) McKinney, Eileen (Corey) Weaver, Matthew (Florine) McKinney, and Justin (Shianna Metzgar) McKinney; and her beloved grandchildren, Abriella, Jaxon, Case, Liv, and Eli.
Friends will be received from 2-9 P.M. on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Boylan Funeral Home, Inc., 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, PA 16063.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at the funeral home 12:30 on Sunday, January 9, 2022, with Rev. Douglas B. Myers., Jr. of the Unionville United Methodist Church, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janice's memory to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
