Jeannette Olszewski passed peacefully at home January 26th, 2023 surrounded by her sons, family and friends. So much love was given to her this last month. The love she gave was in her actions. She desired the family to be together, a strong unit. Mom & Dad moved to Jackson township in 1964 and made many friends. They became involved in the Massillon Boys Club and helped organize efforts to bring the club to Jackson Township. They were part of a team of parents and other Jacksonites that founded the Jackson Midget Football League. Mom gave crocheted afghans to needy families with newborn children. They Helped support the Jackson Booster Club and running, with our father, the concession stands for Jackson sports events in the late 1970's & early 1980's. We want to share our gratitude to our mom, dad and all the parents that helped to make Jackson township a wonderful place to grow into men in the '60's, '70's & '80's.
Jeannette is preceded in crossing over by her husband Donald, dear brother Thomas Frygier (Uncle Tom to most everyone), and sister Marlene Schuetz. Missing her already are her sons Don, Rick (Kathy), Chris (Jenna), Barry and granddaughter Emma, niece Michelle Ferricci & family.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2023, from 5pm-6:30pm at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon with a memorial service to follow at 6:30pm.
The family would like to share our appreciation to Mercy Hospital & staff, Home Instead of Massillon, Jill P. and Absolute Hospice for their kindness, patience & expertise.
