Joan Marie Crncic

Joan Marie Crncic, 76, of Bluffton, SC, passed away unexpectedly at her home on August 1.
Joan is survived by her husband, Larry, two daughters, Colleen Tosadori (TJ), and Cara Crncic, 2 granddaughters, Cailyn and Ashlan Tosadori, a sister, Janet Sparico (Joe), and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Theresa Smith and her father, John Slinchak.
Joan was born on December 1, 1946 in McKeesport, PA to Theresa Smith and John Slinchak. She graduated from Divine Redeemer Academy in Elizabeth, PA and later completed her associate's degree at Carlow College. Joan had a rewarding career in banking until she retired in 2013.
After retirement, Joan and her husband, Larry, moved to Bluffton. Joan was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and was passionate about helping others through the church. She was a member of CRHP, South Carolina Council of Catholic Women, and an associate of the Sisters of St. Cyril and Methodius. Joan assisted with after-care at St. Gregory's Catholic School for many years. She volunteered at the St. Francis Thrift Store and Osprey Thrift Store as well as provided meals for the funeral lunches at St. Gregory's. Joan was also actively involved in the Sun City community at Staying Connected and worked as a docent at Rose Hill Plantation. In addition, she and her husband were members of several social groups in Sun City including the Veteran's Organization, PA Club, Bocce Club, and Rummikub Club.
The previously scheduled funeral mass on August 26 will now be held at a later date. Please check Sauls Funeral Home website in the future for additional details.
