1935-2022
Bethany, MO: John Allen Fisher, 86, Bethany, MO (formerly of Eagleville, MO) went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 1, 2022.
From the time John Allen Fisher was born on July 17th, 1935, to the time he left to be with the Lord he was a kind and grateful person who always put his family first.
John is survived by his daughter, Jan Polley, Ridgeway, MO; son, Jay Fisher & Brian May, Naples, FL; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Polley and fiancé Brian Morris, Kansas City, MO; sister, Myrna Fisher, Wichita, KS, and many loved ones, nieces and nephews.
John was reunited in Heaven with the love of his life, Juanita Fisher. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Carl Bryan and Ada Fisher, and brother, Jack Fisher.
John provided for his family as an optician, which moved them around to various places. He retired to Eagleville, MO where he and Juanita would watch their granddaughter grow up, work in their garden, and establish friendships through the Breakfast Club and the Eagleville Christian Church.
John was known for his kind spirit, love of sports, and big smile. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 6 at Roberson Funeral Home, Eagleville, MO. Burial with Military Rites will follow in Masonic Cemetery, Eagleville, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Harrison County Community Hospital Cardiac Rehab and/or Eagleville Masonic Cemetery in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 46, Eagleville, MO 64442.
