William "Bill" Jason Ellsworth Sr., 64, of Denver, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Mosaic Life Care Hospital in St. Joseph, Missouri surrounded by his family.

Bill was born on February 11, 1961 in Maryville, Missouri to William and Lawanda (Mason) Ellsworth. He grew up in Savannah, Missouri and graduated from Savannah High School in 1979. He enlisted in the United States Navy. On November 14, 1980 he was united in marriage to Kim Lou Ballard in Norfolk, Virginia. Together they raised three sons: William Jr., Jason, and Scott. They lived in many different places but lived in King City, Missouri for over 20 years. Bill worked at Kawasaki in Maryville, Missouri, Affiliated Foods in Elwood, Kansas, and Pettijohn Ford in Albany, Missouri.

Bill really enjoyed mowing the grass, fishing, and spending time with his grandsons and watching them play basketball.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lawanda Ellsworth; brother, Jeff Ellsworth; sister, Lisa Marie Ellsworth; step sister, Ella White; and step brother, Ronnie Harris. He is survived by his wife, Kim Ellsworth; sons, William Ellsworth Jr. and wife Sarah, Jason Ellsworth and fiancé Stephanie, and Scott Ellsworth and wife Shanin; grandsons, William, Drevyn, and Jude; brother, Robert Ellsworth; sisters, Gladys Ellsworth-Cook and Diana Huntly; step brother, Donnie Harris; and step sisters, Debbie Harris and Cindy Harris.

Bill will be cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, King City, Missouri. The family will have a memorial graveside service at Grandview Cemetery in Albany, Missouri at a later date. Memorials and contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association. Online condolences can be left at www.robersonfuneralhome.com.
