Weslaco- Jose Julian Cortina, 46, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco.
Mr. Cortina was born on January 13, 1977 to Mr. Jose Cortina and Mrs. Amelia Cortina in Mexico.
Mr. Cortina is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Jose Cortina and Mrs. Amelia Cortina; his brother, Ernesto Cortina.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Norelia Cortina; his sons, Jose Julian (Ashley Ramirez) Cortina Jr., Alex Cortina, Rigoberto Cortina, Nelson (Jasmin) Quintanilla; his daughters, Odalys Cortina, Dinora (Alfonso Chavez) Quintanilla; his mother, Alejandra Cortina; his brothers, Pedro Cortina, Rigoberto Cortina, Jose Juan Cortina, Luciano Cortina; his sisters, Graciela Cortina, Martha Cortina, Norma Cortina, Dora Cortina and 6 grandchildren.
Visitation for Mr. Jose Julian Cortina is scheduled for Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. Visitation will continue on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 10:00 am to 2:00 pm followed by a Chapel Service at 2:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
