Robin C. Cortina, a lifelong Ewing resident, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025, at the age of 67. Born in 1957 to the late John and Dorothy Johann, in Trenton, NJ, Robin's life was a testament to the joy and warmth she brought to her family and everyone who knew her.
Robin's heart was always at home, where she embraced her role as a devoted wife to her husband, Lew Cortina, and a nurturing mother to her children, Scott and Liddy. Her love knew no bounds and extended to her cherished grandsons, Julian and Frankie, who were the light of her life. Her family was her pride and joy, and she dedicated her life to creating a home filled with laughter, support, and unconditional love.
An avid Yankees fan, Robin's enthusiasm for the game was infectious. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as camping with her family, spending time with her beloved dog Bella, and soaking up the sun at her favorite place, Seaside Heights. Her love for the shore was only matched by her passion for watching her children play sports, a pastime that led her to coach little league with her daughter, sharing her love of the game and her spirit of teamwork.
Robin's legacy is one of love and kindness, attributes that were the cornerstone of her existence. She was the heart of her family, a friend to all, and a woman whose gentle presence could light up a room. Her unwavering support and selfless nature made her an inspiration to those fortunate enough to have felt her warmth.
Robin leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Lew Cortina, son Scott F. Cortina and his wife Sheri Gallo, daughter Liddy Cortina, and grandsons Julian Price and Scott F. "Frankie" Cortina, Jr.
