Joseph "Joe," 87, of Bryn Mawr, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 9, 2023. Joe was born in Italy and came to the United States when he was 11. Following in his father's footsteps, Joe became a stone mason. He then went on to enjoy a successful family construction business. Joe was a long time member of Llanerch Country Club. In addition to playing golf and gin, he enjoyed his Thursday night dinners with the guys. He especially enjoyed having spaghetti and crabs at the shore with family and friends. His family will cherish the memories of the many family gatherings shared together. He will be deeply missed.
Joe was predeceased by his daughter Maria A. Falcone. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Joy (nee DiDonato), his sons Joseph M. Jr. (Cheryl), and Vincent (Miriam), his five grandchildren: Gabriella, Joseph, Sophia, Jessica (Mark Grassi) and Vinny, 2 great-grandchildren: Owen and Jack and his brother Domenic Falcone (the late Lucy). He also leaves behind his extended family, including, brother and sisters in-law and many special nieces and nephews.
Relatives & friends are invited to his Visitation Monday Morning, April 17th, 9:30 – 10;45 AM followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. ALL IN CHURCH at Saint John Neumann Parish 380 Highland Lane, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010. Inurnment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
Contributions in Joe's memory may be made to St John Neumann Church at the above address.
