Our family has suffered a great loss on Tuesday, May 13th, 2025 at 12:30 am, Juan C Romero, Jr born in Mathis, Tx residence of Rockport, Tx. gained his wings at the age of 71 years and went to be with the Lord in his final resting place.
Juan is proceeded in death by his parents, Juan Romero Sr. and Flora Martinez Romero; sister, Janey Romero, and brother Camilo Romero.
He is survived by his kids, daughter, Candice Romero (Mark); son, Juan Romero 3rd: daughter, Stacey Dobbs (Daniel); daughter, Melissa Romero; daughter, Danielle Romero; sister, Adela (Johnny-deceased) Mendez of Bloomington, Tx., Cleo Gomez of Victoria, Tx., Sylvia Gonzales of Victoria, Tx., Sandra Romero of San Antonio, Tx., and Roberto (Graciela) Romero, Sr. of Rockport, Tx.; grandsons, David Dougherty Jr., Matthew Dougherty, Joshua Dougherty, Juan Romero 4th; granddaughters, Hannah Rich, and Lydia Ramirez; grandson, Luis Ramirez; granddaughter, Marsellia Winkler; grandson, Brad Sheaffer Jr.; granddaughter, Mary Sheaffer; grandson, Dayton Kennedy; granddaughter, Lyric Jaramillo. and his great- granddaughters, Liella Mendoza, Laylani Mendoza; As well as numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The passing of Juan C Romero Jr is a massive loss and he will be incredibly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a beloved brother (in-law), father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.
The Romero Family would like to acknowledge Lavaca Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation including the Hospice care takers in Port Lavaca, Tx for their support and care during his illness.The Romero Family will also like to thank Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport/Aransas Pass, Texas for all they have done during this time of loss.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.
