Katherine “Kat” Pauline Landers, 68, of Terre Haute, passed away September 1, 2024 in her home surrounded by family. She was born August 13, 1956 in Freedom, Indiana to Leslie Wade Herrington and Elizabeth Simmons. Kat was a member of the The Sanctuary, 2311 Locust Street, Terre Haute, Indiana. She loved the outdoors, and taking long drives especially to her sister’s house. She enjoyed watching WWE: NXT. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Michael, Jerry, and Theodore. She is survived by children, Michael Cardwell, Shelly Brown (Chris), Joshua Landers (Pam), William Wyatt (Leslie), brothers, Lester Herrington, Paul Herrington, Robert Herrington, Ken Herrington (Lisa), Dan Herrington, Mack Herrington (Cathy), and Keith Herrington, sisters, Sharon Summers, Gail Blackburn, and Judy Herrington, grandchildren, Andrew Wheeler, Andria Wheeler, Cameron Jewell, Joshua Landers Jr., Brianna Landers, and Isaac Landers, several nieces and nephews, and a sister in law, Chris Herrington. Kat will be cremated with services provided by Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd, West Terre Haute, Indiana, 47885.
