Obituary of Kenneth W. Bream II
Kenneth (Ken) Willis Bream II, 69, of Riverside, IA, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023.
He was born on September 5, 1954, in Iowa City, IA to Kenneth Bream and Tootie (Miller) Bream. He was a proud Marine serving from 1972-1979 during which time he was promoted to staff sergeant. He was known for his passions of creating stained glass artwork and coaching bowling. He had a love for dogs and throughout his life rescued many dogs across the world including Japan. He retired from Proctor and Gamble Co. after 15 years.
He is survived by his children, Kenneth Bream III of Texas, David Canada and wife Brooke of Texas, Drew Canada and wife Jessica of Iowa, Brett Canada and significant other Chelsie of Iowa, Travis Bream and wife Torri of Kansas, Jake Bream and wife Cindy of Iowa; 14 grandchildren Journi, Alexis, Zack, Sam, Alex, Kaden, Nathan, Lisa, Justin, Abel, Alexander, Charlotte, Violet, Geordi, Adel and great granddaughter Rain. As well as siblings Steve Bream and wife Gail of Iowa, and Deb (Bream) Irvin and husband Dick of Iowa and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Bream and Tootie (Miller) Bream, daughter in law Sheri (Rucker) Bream and love of his life Sharon Guldenzopf.
A military honor ceremony will be held Thursday January 4, 2024, at 1pm at Gay and Ciha Funeral Home in Iowa City, IA.
