Lawrence Jerome Walsh

Lawrence Jerome Walsh was born on December 13, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to father Lawrence Walsh and mother Margaret Mary McGill. The oldest of four sons, Lawrence graduated from GMI with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and earned his MBA from the University Of Michigan. He retired Ford Motor Company after 35 years in the finance department. He greatly enjoyed his retirement and was often quoted saying, "Everyday is a Saturday."
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents and by his brothers, Kenneth and Charles Walsh. He is survived by his children Jason Walsh and Jennifer Hong (Erick Hong); cherished grandchildren Emilee Walsh, Alejandra Hong, Jason Walsh, Isabella Hong, and Gabriella Hong; and brother Michael Walsh.
A visitation for Lawrence is planned for Wednesday, February 16th from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a reading of the scriptures at 7:00 pm. The visitation will be at Potere-Modetz Funeral Home on 339 Walnut Blvd., Rochester, Michigan 48307. All are invited to attend. The funeral mass will take place on Thursday, February 17th in state begins at 10:30 am followed by a mass at 11:00 am at St. Andrew's Catholic Church on 1400 Inglewood Ave. Rochester, MI 48307.
