Linda E. Taylor

HOLDEN - Linda E. (Johnson) Taylor, 72, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at UMass Memorial Healthcare after an illness. Born and raised in Holden, Linda was the daughter of the late Gordon R. and Louise E. (Ellis) Johnson, and resided here most of her life.
She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband, David T. Taylor of 39 years; a brother, Russell W. Johnson and his wife, Nancy of Spencer; and a nephew, Patrick Johnson of Spencer.
Linda graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in 1969 and worked locally as a home care specialist for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Holden and the Wachusett Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.
She, along with her husband David, enjoyed attending and volunteering at Worcester County Shrine Club and Rufus Putnam Lodge of Masons socials and fundraising events. She will remembered for her gentle and kind nature.
A funeral service honoring and celebrating Linda's life will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, February 7, at the First Baptist Church of Holden, 1216 Main St., Holden. Relatives and friends may visit with Linda's family immediately following the service at a reception in fellowship hall. Burial will be private at Walnut Grove Cemetery in North Brookfield. Donations may be made in Linda's name to Rufus Putnam Lodge of Mason, P.O. Box 43, Holden, MA 01520.
