Published by Legacy on Feb. 24, 2022.
Our mom, grandma, aunt, sister, and friend, Margaret Sue Simpson, a longtime resident of Round Rock, Texas, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Sue was born on April 7th, 1946, in McAlester, OK, to Sherman and Leona Dobbs.
Sue worked at LCRA Credit Union as a loan officer for 35 years. She loved her time there and the people she worked with and served.
Sue is survived by her sons Marcus Simpson and his wife Anita; Guy Simpson and his wife Nicole; and Remy Simpson. She is also survived by her siblings Frances Barta; Sherman Dobbs and his wife Carol; and Virginia Barrier, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 26th from 5-8 PM at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, TX. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday February 27th at the same location.
Because of Sue's love for the dogs she rescued, in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a local animal shelter in her memory.

I worked with Sue for 8 years at the credit union.
She loved her dogs, family & Schlotzsky's. She gave me a wooden bread box & beautiful owl lamp she haindpainted. Many people that saw the lamp complimented me on it. Such a talented lady. I am so grateful God placed us together. She wasn't just a coworker; she was my friend.
