Ramon Santa Cruz Obituary
Ramon Santa Cruz, 49 years old, passed away on Thursday, October 23,2025, peacefully surrounded by family.
Ramon Pablo Santa Cruz was born in Taylor, Texas on February 26, 1976 to Paul and Irma Santa Cruz. He graduated from Taylor High School with the Class of 1994 in the top 10%. Ramon attended Kentucky University where he received his associates degree before going on to study at UT Austin. He loved music, and was musically inclined, he played drums, guitar, and harmonica.
He was a proud and loving father.
Ramon is proceeded in death by his father, Paul Santa Cruz, paternal grandparents, SP and Emily Santa Cruz, and maternal grandparents, Douglas and Minerva Watson.
Ramon is survived by his loving mother, Erma Watson Torres and his loving son, Liam Nash Santa Cruz and aunt, Arleen Sanchez (Frank). Half brother, Surgess E. Santa Cruz (Catrina), half sister, Alisa Garza (Ernest) as well as aunts and uncles, Douglas (Vicky), Robert (Sylvia), Tomas (Yolanda), Wilbert, Joe and Zerah Ybarra (Robert), and numerous of cousins who loved him.
Services are being held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Providence Funeral Home, 807 Carlos G Parker Boulevard NW, Taylor, Texas. Visitation will be from 11am-12pm with the Rosary from 12-1pm. Farewells will be from 1-2pm. Immediately following a luncheon will be held at Black Sparrow, 113 West 2nd St. from 2:30-6pm.
