Mary Booth Obituary
Mary "Louise" Booth, 85, passed from this Earth peacefully at her home in Clyde, TX on Monday, March 18, 2024. Louise was born on October 14, 1938 to Elsie Barry and Mary Pearl Jackson on a small farm in rural Oklahoma.
As a teen, Louise moved Baird, TX, where she met the love of her life, Donald Wayne Booth. The two went on to be married on January 5 th, 1957. Louise was a homemaker by choice. And, as most homemakers do, she raised her children and grandchildren with a heart full of love. Louise and Don had three children of their own, Danny Wayne Booth of Grand Prairie TX, Brenda Louise Booth of Clyde TX, and Mary Ann and her husband Stephen Steele, both of Clyde TX. They also acted as parents to numerous loving and grateful souls.
She is survived by all three of her children, as well as 9 grandchildren, Jennifer Martinez of Clyde TX, Bregena Booth of Grand Prairie TX, Danny Booth Jr of Baird TX, Donny Booth of Clyde TX, CeeAnn Loeb of Ft Worth TX, Zena Kneupper of Clyde TX, Christina Beall of Clyde TX, Angelica Steele of Clyde TX, and Nick Steele of Clyde TX. She is also survived by numerous great grand children, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Louise is preceded in death by her husband Don, her Dad Elsie Barry, her mom Mary Pearl, her brothers Canelous, Raymond, Carl, and Delmer Jackson, and her sister Myrtle Strange. She is also preceded by her great grandson Andrew Berry. She is, without doubt dancing in the streets of heaven with all of her long lost family members, that she has missed so profoundly over the years.
There will be a visitation hosted at Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home in Baird, on Wednesday March 20, 2024 from 5:00 -7:00 pm. A service will be held at 11:00 am at Parker-Jacobs on Thursday March 21, 2024 with a graveside service at Ross Cemetery in Baird to follow. Southside Baptist Church in Clyde will host a Remembrance Meal in her honor immediately following the graveside services.
