GOSHEN – Alan Harold Booth, 73, passed away on December 1, 2025.
He is survived by his loving wife Ann L. Booth; his sister, Lorinda Brady (Andrew); and his niece, Julie Vold (Evan). He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest W. Booth and Alice I. Booth; his brothers, Jeffrey Booth and Steven Booth and his nephew and godson, Michael Brady.
Born in Torrington on April 29, 1952, Alan was a graduate of Cheshire Academy and Vassar College.
He was a Vice President of the Torrington Casting Co. Inc., a family-owned business.
Alan was a longtime member of the Torrington Elks Lodge, the Goshen Agricultural Society and a life member of the Old Newgate.
Calling hours will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield.
Memorial contributions in Alan's name may be made to Friends of the Goshen Public Library, P.O. Box 326, Goshen, CT 06756.
