Mary Elizabeth Craig Wilson (Berry) who was lovingly called “Gail” by her brothers and sisters, died peacefully in her sleep on September 9, 2023 at the youthful age of 76 years old.

Mary was born on March 24, 1947 in Columbus, MS to her dad, Mr. Berry and to Lubertha (née Shelton) Stewart. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. She attended Summit Avenue Assembly of God. Her passion was spreading the news about Jesus Christ. She enjoyed reading her Bible, listening to music, and talking to people. She had a beautiful smile and a lovely and giving heart.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lubertha; sister, Pat; brother, Anthony; and her husband, Paul Wilson. 

She leaves behind her 8 children: Celeste Darden, Cassandra (Ron) Hutchins, Forrest Darden II, John Craig Jr., Kim Kates, Michael (Suzanne) Kates, Aaron Kates, and Shannon Craig; her siblings: Pauletta (Fred) Morris, Alberta (William) Anderson, Alfred Lee Stewart Jr., Deborah Stewart, Robert Earl (Lisa) Stewart; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Home going service 11:00 AM Thursday, September 21 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home (Roseville), 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd. B.
