Mary Frances Jones

Mary Frances Jones, age 88 transition into heaven on May 3,2024 in Buda, Texas. She was a Military Wife and lived in Killeen for over 60 years and traveled as a Military Wife on a ship to Germany,California and Killeen, Texas.
Funeral Services are scheduled on Thursday, May 23,2024 at Heritage Funeral Home in Harker Heights,Tx. Visitation Service is from 11am to 1pm. Funeral Service is from 1pm to 2pm and Graveside Service at 3pm at Central Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Tx.
Mary was born in Smithdale, Mississippi to Morris T. Temple and Lillie Mae Adams and second mom Mary Temple. She is survived by her Sister Pat Rains and husband Jim and brother Joe Temple and daughter Debbie Andrews and husband Billy ans son Morris P. Jones.
She is also survived by grand kids, Jeremy Jones,Crystal Ropp, Jordan Jones and Shawn Adkins and wife Marquel Adkins. Great Grandkids Lillie Wood, Twins Dalton and Mason Jones, Troy Reichardt and Tyler Reichardt and Taylum Christensen and Twins Zach and Cheyenne Atkins and Great Great Grandkids River Wood and Clayton Jones.
Mary had a southern voice that her friends loved to listen to. And her friends loved to listen and learn about her life in Mississippi. And when she got older she would tell it like it is which tickled her friends. She loved to crocheted blankets and shaws for her friends and family. She sewed very good clothes and made barbie clothes for her daughter. Most of all she loved to dance to country and western which she learned at Killeen Community Center and square dancing. She also loved Yellow cornbread, collard greens and loved onions with everything and bread and butter pickles. She really loved playing bingo, arts and crafts, and singing at Buda Oaks Assisted Living in Buda, Tx and all her wonderful sweet friends and nice people who worked there. And special thanks to Special Care above by Shana Miller for her special care and attentionto Mom at Gentivah Hospice and really caring people who worked there also.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband Andrew C. Jones and Grandson John Andrews.
