Mary Christine McRae, 96, of New Haven, CT passed away peacefully on May 8, 2013 at her home. She was the wife of the late Benton McRae. Born on August 20, 1916 in Fayetteville, North Carolina she was the youngest of 12 children born to Lou Anna Ray and Charlie Williams. She loved cooking, spending time with family and going to church. "Aunt Mae" as she is affectionately called by everyone, loved to be at church! She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Patricia McRae-Brown (James) of Hamden, grandchildren, Jamie Christine Brown, Kevin Thomas Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great friends and church family. She was predeceased by her son, Kevin Marcel Norwood-McRae; step-sons, Curtis McRae, Sonny McRae; brothers, William "Queenie", Raymond, Stanley, Mitchell, John D.; sisters, Martisha, Henrieitta, Pauline, Louise, Louvenia.
