Visitation for Maurice Leon Alsbrooks will be held on Friday, April 7, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Wade Hunt officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Maurice Leon Alsbrooks was from Sheffield and attended Sheffield High School. He went on to attend Auburn University. He served in the Army and worked for Reynolds Metals (Alloys).
Maurice Leon Alsbrooks is preceded in death by his wife, Edith Smith Alsbrooks, and survived by no family members. He is also preceded in death by his father, John A. Alsbrooks, and mother, Ethel M. Alsbrooks, as well as his sisters Evelen Cooksey and Lillian Aycock.
