Nicolas Logan Valdez, age 4 months, of Bald Knob, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, August 3, 2008. He was born March 27, 2008 in Searcy. He is survived by his mother, Erica N. Lockhart of Bald Knob; grandmother, Cherie Grigsby of Bald Knob; grandparents, Steve and Mary Lockhart of Bradford; Uncles, Josh and Tim Benford and Anthony French all of Bradford; great-grandparents, Helen Brimer of Bald Knob, Charles and Clara Ritter of Texas, Maggie Bartel of Florida; great-great-grandparents, Elsie Lockett of Bald Knob, Jim and Norma Boyce of Bald Knob and Ruby Corbit of Bald Knob. His Father, Bobby Gene Valdez of Bald Knob; grandparents, Billide and Keith Mason of Bald Knob; grandfather, Bobby Posey of Bradford; uncle, Sgt. Glenn Skaggs of California; aunt and uncle, Megan and Jason Burton of Bald Knob; great-grandfather, Bill Skaggs of Denmark; great-grandparents, Carolyn and Donley Helms of Bradford. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home. A celebration of Nicolas' life will be held Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob.
