nishan and i had been friends since elementary school. he always teased me for every little thing and i would do the same to him. he was the reason english was my favourite part of the day. our group was the loudest in that class because he would say something out of pocket and we would all laugh and react to it. he would say something dumb and we would all argue back and forth about it. i would be having one of the worst days ever and he would somehow manage to make me smile or laugh.

I´ll always remember his generosity and attitude. Man he was so outgoing. It so easy to become friends with him. I know he touched so many peoples life like he touched mine. Such a genuine good guy

Nishan was one of my earliest friends in life. I knew him back when his family lived in Minnesota. I remember the day he left for California. I was sad to see him leave the state, but now, I´m shocked and confused. I didn´t want to believe it when I heard the news. He was a good kid and didn´t deserve to go like this.

Nishan and I would talk a lot as we were close friends. He always called me "Eef" instead of my name Ethan, and it made me smile. He had a great sense of humor and had a unique ability to make people laugh. He was a funny guy, and I will certainly miss him. To the Arjun family, I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you know that Nishan Arjun's memory will continue to influence myself and many others who knew him for the rest of our lives.
