Otis C. Jackson, better known as “Cricket,” of Beebe, Arkansas, departed this life on October 8, 2023. He was born February 10, 1938, in Beebe to the late William Jackson and Gertrude Nelson. He married Rebecca (Becky) Williams on March 16, 1965; they have been married fifty-eight years and were blessed with three children. Cricket was a Trackman for Union Pacific Railroad.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Cricket leaves, to cherish his memory, his wife, Rebecca (Becky) Jackson; son Maurice (Brandi) Jackson; daughters Sharon Bracely and Tanya Jackson; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren; five brothers and three sisters; plus, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
The family of Cricket wishes to express their sincere gratitude to everyone for their prayers, visits and all acts of kindness.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 14th one hour prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. with funeral services to begin promptly at 11 a.m. in the Chapel at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W Dewitt Henry, Beebe, Arkansas. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
