Capt Riley was my CO in Echo Company 2 nd Bn 9 th mar I was a Fire team leader he was the best CO I had in the Corp he was hard but fair loved us like his family all he wanted was to train us to be the World's finest 03's so we would survive combat Rest in Peace my brother Semper Fidelis now you are Officer of the day at the pearly gates see you again condolences to the Riley family he was a Machine love him he and 1st Sgt Lamons made me the man I am if you want a copy I wrote a song about Echo Company 2 nd Bn 9 th mar that mentions Capt Riley (865)719-9829 text me your number and who you are I'll friend request you and when you accept I'll send it through messenger thanks I just found out or I would have been there

Col. Riley was my Sergeants program Boot camp instructor back in the summer of 1996. I had enlisted in the Marines and needed to get in shape. He got me in shape and if it wasn't for him I might not have made it. I kept in contact with him through out the years and wish I would of reached out a little sooner to get together. He has had a big impact in my life and I will always remember him.

We are Chris Ingersoll's sister, Susan and husband Doug. We met Patrick at Chris & Katie's wedding. I am so very sorry for your loss. Chris & Katie think the world of Patrick and he leaves a big hole in all of our hearts. Even though we didn't know him well, we have come to love Katie so and her kind heart that we are deeply saddened at her brothers sudden departure because we realize what a good friend he was to Chris and how very much Katie loves him. May God bless you all in the coming days ahead. Sometimes words just do not describe the sorrow and loss that is felt when a dear one leaves us so unexpectedly.
