He is survived by his mother, Mary, his partner and love of his life, Karen Pfieffer, his three sons, Philip, Peter Jr. (Alicia) and Vinny (Shannon), his daughter, Carly (Keith), his grandchildren, Chloe and Cliff, his sisters, Lucille (Peter) and Linda (Mike), his nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Born in Brooklyn to Mary and Philip Guido, he was a third generation iron worker in Local 580 for over 30 years. Family was everything to him. He enjoyed drag racing and was an avid car enthusiast. He loved traveling and going to wineries with Karen. Always the life of the party, he was known for his animated storytelling and made everyone around him laugh. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Friends may visit with the family at the John Vincent Scalia Home for Funeral at 28 Eltingville Blvd. Staten Island, NY on Thursday, October 19 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, October 20, from the funeral home, then to Resurrection Cemetery at 361 Sharrott Avenue, Staten Island, NY.
In remembrance and in lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to the Nick & Kelly Children's Heart Fund, an organization dear to his family. Donations are accepted online at https://nickandkellyfund.org/donate-today.html or checks can be mailed to:

Peter was someone you fell in love with immediately. His heart was as big as the universe. Family was "everything" whether it was by blood or if you were lucky enough to be inherited into it. My condolences to everyone..to his boys..you were raised by greatness and you made him the proudest man everyday. Aunt Mary, Lucille and Linda I´m so sorry...Barbara, Karen...my deepest condolences. I am truly heartbroken.
