Phyllis W. Arnold
WOODRUFF- Phyllis White Arnold,75, of 707 Harris Bridge Road went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 9, 2022, at Regional Hospice Home.
She was born July 14, 1947, in Spartanburg County to the late Troy and Daisey Brown White Kiss. Phyllis was a faithful member of the Woodruff Church of God where she was also a member of the Joy Club, The Legacy Sunday School Class and the Comforting Hearts Meal Team.
Surviving is one son, Brian (Amy) Arnold of Duncan; two grandchildren, Caleb Louis Arnold and Colton James Arnold; one niece, Teresa Sawyer Lawson. She was predeceased by two daughters, Edna Renee Arnold and Kristi LeAnn Arnold, a sister, Diane Sawyer and a brother, Bobby White.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at the Woodruff Church of God by Rev. Jonathan Knight and Rev. Curtis Terry. Interment will follow at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens with a committal by Rev. Thomas Thornton and Mr. Danny Knight.
Serving as pallbearers, Michael Baumgardner, Arin Hendrix, Larry Hagerman, Bruce Hall, Marvin Guy, Richie Laster and Les Gilmore. Honorary Escort will be provided by the Woodruff Church of God Joy Club, The Legacy Sunday School Class, Mr. Steve Sawyer and Mr. Danny Knight.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Woodruff Church of God, P.O. Box 275, Woodruff, S.C. 29388.
The family is at their respective homes.
