Janice Irene Arnold, 69, of 717 Taggart Avenue, widow of Charles Arnold, Sr., entered into eternal rest on October 20, 2025, at Self Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Greenwood County on January 7, 1956, a daughter of the late James Otis Williams, Sr. and Rose Marie Marshall.
She was formerly employed with Nantex and Goodwill Industries.
Surviving are: two sons, Charles Richard Arnold, Jr. (Delyria) of the home and Randall Arnold of Boston, MA; a brother, James Otis Williams, Jr. of Greenwood; eight grandchildren: Kassandra S. Arnold, Kadijah I. Arnold, Alyse L. Arnold, Andre W. Arnold, Charlia D. Arnold, Aniah R. Arnold, Syre J. Arnold and Marquel Z. Lattimore; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to mourn her passing.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Bishop Emanuel Spearman officiating.
Public viewing will be from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Funeral Home.
Mrs. Arnold will lie in state at Mt. Zion Baptist Church from 10:00 am until the service hour on Friday.
The family is at the home, 717 Taggart Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
