In Preston's short life, he stole the hearts of many. He was so full of energy, despite everything he had been through. He loved playing on his phone, watching Mickey Mouse and Super Why, no matter what language it was in or how many times we had already watched it. If he wasn't having a blast in his swing spinning, he was munching on Cheetos.
He adored his older sister, Aaliyah, and always wanted his momma in his sight. Preston was full of personality and had a contagious smile. He surely will be missed.
Preston is survived by both parents, Cassie, and Daniel (Emily), a sister, Aaliyah, his grandparents, Thurman Lucas, Ronnie, and Kathy Mclean. Preston is preceded in death by his grandmother, Karen Lucas.
A Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 9:00-11:00am, at Brookside Funeral Home (500 W. Prospect, Moxee, WA 98936). To celebrate Preston's life, there will be a Funeral Service at 11:00am, with a Reception to follow.
Flowers can be sent to Brookside Funeral Home. If you wish, memorial contributions may be made payable to Seattle Children's Hospital and sent in care of Brookside Funeral Home (PO Box 1267, Moxee, WA 98936), who is caring for the family.
