He was born February 6, 1954 in Kingsville, TX to Gregorio C. Gonzalez Sr. and Leonor Villanueva Gonzalez. Ricardo was employed for King Ranch, Kingsville, TX, Zachery Construction, Houston, TX and was retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gregorio Gonzalez Sr. and Leonor Villanueva Gonzalez; three brothers Gregorio Gonzalez, Jesus Gonzalez, Rafael Gonzalez and three sisters Manuela Gonzalez, Anita Garcia, and Guadalupe Soliz.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years of marriage, Maria Elena Gonzalez of Houston, TX; one daughter Elaine Avilez (Paul) of Houston,TX three sons Ricardo Gonzalez Jr. (Marisol) of Pasadena, TX, Randy Gonzalez (Marixsa) of Pasadena, TX and Jesse Gonzalez (Margie) of Katy, TX; two sisters, Dalia Vela of Kingsville, TX and Leonor Hernandez of Pasadena, TX; four brothers, Lupito Gonzalez, Juan Jose Gonzalez, Joel Gonzalez all of Kingsville, TX, George Gonzalez of Krum, TX; 14 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at South Park Funeral Home with Rosary at 6 p.m.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct.19,2022 at 10 a.m. at South Park Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment to follow at 11:30 a.m. at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, TX.
