Dick Wiley of Peachtree Corners, Ga passed away on February 9th. He was at home, peaceful and surrounded by his family.
Dick was born March 8, 1941 to Gladys Pearl and Eugene Victor Wiley.
He was a graduate of Georgia State University. He began working at the age of 13 for his father's company, Wiley Equipment, in Atlanta. He continued his career in the lift truck and paper industry until his retirement in 2019.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda, daughters Pam Breedlove Feeney (John) and Gayla Breedlove Wright (Ray), son Richard Eugene Wiley, grandchildren Bobbie Fields (Charlie) and John Wiley Feeney sister-in-law Helen Gibbs (Bill) as well as many beloved extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Gladys Wiley, sister Sally Wiley Breedlove and her husband Alton Randall Breedlove, and daughter Vickie Breedlove Branton.
Dick had many interests and hobbies, but none greater than his love of racing. He loved NASCAR, Indy, Formula 1 down to dirt track. And of course, he was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan!
Services will be held on Wednesday, February 14th at Crowell Bros Funeral Home, Peachtree Corners Chapel 5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, with interment at Arlington Cemetery in Sandy Springs, GA. Visitation will be at 11am with chapel service at noon,
Followed by burial at 1:30pm.
