I came online to look up Robert's address, we'd been out of touch for a decade or so & I wanted to reach out -so seeing this photo (that smile!) on his obituary is jarring. For me, he was alive this morning.
To Lisa & Cathy & his brothers & sister, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I remember him from my time in Gaithersburg in the 80s. I was new to the area & he introduced me to a *family.* His Aunt Pauline took me to her church & one of his brothers helped me appreciate long drives listening to music on Sunday mornings. Bob taught me the best way to cook shrimp & how not to "helicopter" when I watched Lisa - a great tip that helped me with the kids in my life.
The last time I saw Robert was on his wedding day to Ms Wright. I always thought that I'd see him again.
